Hello everyone! Today, I’m going to post a random bunch of ideas that I’ve had over the past few months that I just could not find a way to stretch into a full blog post. You’re probably wondering why I’m bothering to post a bunch of ideas that couldn’t fill an entire blog post, or why I would think that anyone would possibly be interested. Well, the simple answer is that sometimes you just have to get things out of your head. Please enjoy my surprisingly sober ramblings!
There are too many people in this country that believe that the proper response to “Thank you” is “Your welcome”, and I think that it is high time that someone corrected this assumption. You see, the Welcome is not a thing that can be possessed. The Welcome is a state of being. It takes a lot of hard work and training to achieve the state of Welcome. I still remember that proud moment when, after many long years, my master approached me and told me “You are welcome.” Although now that I think about it, he may have just been responding to me thanking him for letting me crash at his place.
Is it just me, or do dogs pick weird times to decide when you need to have a puppy on your lap? Granted, there are times when I do need a puppy, but I usually don’t need one when I’m writing or trying to do laundry. I guess it could be that my dog needs a human at those times, but that’s just crazy.
I’d really like to know what it is that they teach in marketing classes. It seems like every commercial that I see now is just so dumb (this is especially true with this being an election year). I know that the point of advertising is to make the product memorable, but you also have to make people want your product. If people react to your advertisement with “well, that’s two minutes of my life I’ll never get back”, then you’re wasting your money.
That’s about all I have for now. I may post some more ramblings at a later date, but I’m really hoping that my future posts are more complete than this one has been.
